Botox/ neuromodulator
Aging has never looked better! Botox is used to treat lines and wrinkles. There is also many other uses for botox such as facial slimming, TMJ, gummy smile, as well as upturning a downward turned smile.
Most common areas for botox to treat fine lines and wrinkles are forehead (frontalis), between the eyebrows (glabellar) and around the eyes (crows). Treatment duration ranges from 3-5 months on average dependent on body composition and metabolism. This is a great treatment to help reverse the clock and keep you looking refreshed.
Dermal Filler
Filler is used in all aspects of the face, from lip plumping to adding contour to cheeks and chin definition. Filler is made up of substances such as hyaluronic acid, which are found naturally in the body and decrease with aging/ time. They are used for raising areas of the skin to adding hydration to lips, they are also great to help reduce perioral lines surround the mouth.
Because it is primarily made of hyaluronic acid, which is in charge of hydration, It can also help bring more elasticity and youthfulness.
Kybella
Deoxycholic acid is a bile acid that destroys fat cells. Kybella is a synthetic form of this acid, FDA approved to dissolve fat in areas such as submental (double chin). It is a prescription medication to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat under the chin. Multiple injections/ treatments may be needed for desired outcome, but this treatment is permanent, making it a great alternative to surgery. It also can be used in other areas to dissolve fat, and the best part, it’s permanent!
Microneedling
Microneedling by itself is great treatment and one that everyone should do early! By adding PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) the treatment can be even more beneficial by encouraging your skin to produce collagen and elastin.
After your initial consult, a small amount of your own blood will be drawn and placed in a device that separates the blood and plasma. Often known as “liquid gold” for its healing properties. Blood plasma speeds up tissue recovery time and stimulates skin renewal, partly through the naturally occurring proteins and other beneficial substances we all have in our blood. Once the plasma is separated, a special microneedling “pen” will be used with the sterile plasma and using a series of extremely small, fine needles, any areas in need of rejuvenation will be treated. The small injections will stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin, promoting a healing cascade that will leave the skin evenly textured, tighter, and glowing! And a topical numbing will be used, so it is practically painless.
Undereye PRP
PRP (platelet rich plasma) is used to help stimulate collagen production and encourages the body to produce more broth factors. This is great for underage dark circles, bags and hallowing. Recovery process is quick and typical swelling can last 24-48 hours, at which time body slowly absorbs the PRP.
