Deoxycholic acid, used to dissolve fat permanently. It is primarily used for under chin fat, but also can be used for facial slimming and to enhance the jawline. It may also be used in lower abdominal area for fat as well as the armpits.

Results are typically permanent unless there is substantial weight gain after the procedure.

Swelling is common for 1 to 2 weeks after the procedure, but after this the results can be seen. The downtime can usually be decreased by applying ice to the area.
